about my readings
1) What kind of readings do you offer?
Currently, I offer only audio-recorded readings. In this type of reading, we correspond via email regarding your questions and some background information. I will complete your reading and email you the audio recording along with a photo of your cards. Because there is no set time for this type of reading, I am able to do them whenever I am able to fit them in, and for that reason, this is generally the fastest way to receive a reading from me.
2) Do you offer different-length readings?
Yes. I offer both one-hour and thirty-minute readings. Both are offered as recorded readings only. Whichever you choose, I take your reading very seriously and will be absolutely focused on connecting with your guides and providing you with the best reading I possibly can.
3) Why recorded readings?
Although I have offered Zoom and phone readings in the past, and I am, at times, available for in-person readings, my current life obligations limit my ability to schedule Zoom or other “in-person” type readings as my availability is in flux. This may change in the future, and at that point, my bookings will reflect that. I will also use this website to note when and where I will hold in-person readings should they occur. All this having been said, recorded readings are yours to keep and listen to as often as you like. They also allow my total concentration, and your time will not include my shuffling cards for connection, etc.
4) How many questions can I ask?
I generally limit clients to four questions per reading. That having been said, I will also ask you for a bit of background information regarding you and the overall situation. (You will be emailed information about this.) Almost always, I will use one “spread” that will cover all of your questions. However, although you are asking specific questions, your guides will often provide additional information about you, your situation, and more.
5) Are you a psychic? Are you a medium?
I consider myself neither a psychic nor a medium in the traditional sense of the words. I feel as if I have learned to use Tarot to help me connect with the nonphysical world – your guides and mine. I further feel they are providing me with any information I receive. I often feel the presence of these guides and, at times, have a feeling as to who they are (or were in life). I also, at times, feel like they want to deliver specific messages, which I try to relay, but this is not the norm. You may also feel the presence of certain people who are dear to you during your reading or as you listen to or watch your reading.
6) Do you predict the future?
It is not within my ability – or anyone’s ability – to predict your future. The future is absolutely yours to shape. We all have free will! A tarot reading will, however, talk about the energy of situations and give you insights. It can also talk about probabilities and likelihoods. Tarot readings are tools to help guide you toward the fulfillment of your own goals and the life-purpose you hoped to achieve before stepping into this lifetime.
7) Can I ask questions about someone else?
Yes and no. Life is much about relationships and relating to other people, and therefore it is inevitable that people want to know about such things. You are welcome to ask about other people as they relate to you. We generally ask these questions in the form of “what is the energy behind this relationship” or some form of that question. I always ask your guides: What do you need to know? What would it be good for you to know? What would it help you to know? I do not, however, address questions that are geared toward finding out personal information that another person has chosen not to share with you. This is a standard for all ethical tarot readers.
8) Do you predict death?
Again, tarot is not about predictions; it is about help, insight, and guidance. Therefore, I do not predict death, and nonphysical guides almost without fail offer me information that is uplifting, kind, insightful, and helpful.
9) I want a reading, but I’m afraid.
I’m always surprised by how often first-time clients tell me that they are afraid to receive their reading! Your guides are so anxious to help you – there is nothing to fear! Without a doubt, clients sometimes receive information they are not quite ready to accept, but this is nothing to fear; your guides have your greatest good at heart and only – only – want to help you. There is nothing to fear!
10) Regarding past life readings: I’ve had one, can I get another?
I absolutely believe we have all had many, many past lives. Exploring different past lives at different times in your life and under various circumstances can prove very helpful. Generally, my clients and I begin by asking which of your past lives is most affecting this one. However, you may encounter circumstances (phobias, skills, experiences, etc.) that you may associate (or wonder about an association) with a past life, and may want to ask about these at different times. Or, you may just be curious. So yes! Many clients have, and are welcome to have, more than one past life reading.
11) How long will I have to wait for my reading?
The wait time for readings depends completely on my schedule and availability. I generally can get recorded audio readings to you within three weeks. (If my schedule is very tight, these can take a bit longer).
